Dog rescue-Cindy

I rescue one dog at a time. The dogs are usually abused, and not very friendly. When I rescued Cindy she was a mess. Ticks, sores, you can imagine the rest. I fell in love and kept her.

Before my health failed I had rescued others. Guiene Pigs also. Smaller and easier to rescue, hard to rehome.

I have kept three of the rescued dogs turns out they make great pets with lots of love.

Now Cindy is rescuing me. She stays at my feet and keeps me company. Or sleeps on my bed when I am ill. She goes for walks behind my rolator. I thought her that so that she wouldn't get rolled on. Not so isolated anymore.

A 10 pound dog is easy to rehab if you have the space for 10 more pounds. I must be like her 4th home. She is here to stay. She helps me go for walks, and eat right. She love carrots. Funny dog. So if you want a good healing project but don't have the strength to do much, save the life of a 10 pound dog.

I just re-homed a 10 pound maltese mix, she loves her new family and the little boy who now owns her is blooming into a wonderful future father.
